በሀገረ አሜሪካ ሜሪላንድ ግዛት ዘንድሮ በ2018 ዓ.ም. እጅግ በደመቀ ሁኔታ ከ7 በላይ የሚሆኑ አብያተ ክርስቲያናት በአንድነት ኑ የመስቀልን ደመራ በዓል ፥ ብርሃነ መስቀሉን በጋራ እናክብር የሚል ድንቅ ጥሪ አስተላልፈዋል። ሜሪላንድ በሚገኘው በሐመረ ብርሃን መጥምቁ ቅዱስ ዮሐንስ የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተክርስቲያን አዘጋጅነት በሚከወነው ታላቁ በዓላችን ላይ ይገኙ ዘንድ በክብር ተጋብዘዋል።
በዕለተ ቀኑ መስከረም 16 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም ወይም September 26, 2025 ከቀኑ 3:00pm ሰዓት ጀምሮ ብፁዕ አቡነ ያሬድ በመንበረ ፖትርያርክ ጠቅላይ ቤት ክህነት ጽሕፈት ቤት የሰበካ መንፈሳዊ ጉባኤ መምሪያ የበላይ ጠባቂ እና የምሥራቅ አርሲ ሀገረ ስብከት ሊቀ ጳጳስ በተገኙበት በዓሉ በታላቅ ድምቀት ይከበራል።
ከየደብሩ የሚመጡ አባቶች ካህናት፥ ወንድሞች ዲያቆናት ፥የሰንበት ት/ቤት መዘምራንና ምዕመናን በሙሉ በልዩ ልዩ መንፈሳዊ መርሐ ግብራት ዕለቱን በደስታ ለማሳለፍ ተዘጋጅተዋል። እርስዎስ የት ኖት? የእርስዎ መገኘት ብቻ ሳይሆን ሌሎቹን ወደ ታላቁ የበረከት ስፍራ መጋበዝ ይገባዎታል። ለልጆችዎም የሚሆኑ መንፈሳዊ መርሐግብራት ስላሉን ይዘወኣቸው ይምጡ! ሀይማኖታዊ በዓላትዎን እያሳዩ በጎ ማንነትዎን ያውርሱ።

This year’s celebration will take place on Friday, September 26, 2025, starting at 3:00 PM at Hamere Berhan Kidus Yohannes EOTC, located at 4115 Muncaster Mill Road, Rockville, MD. The day will be marked with vibrant liturgical services, joyful hymns, and the spirit of unity that has carried generations of believers.
To accommodate attendees, shuttle buses will run every 20 minutes starting at 3:30 PM from Glenmont Parking Garage (Silver Spring, MD) and Shady Grove Metro Station Park & Ride (Derwood, MD), ensuring convenient access for all.
